The Switzer Group completed the comprehensive renovation of the 51st and 53rd floors of Paramount’s East Coast Headquarters at 1515 Broadway in New York, NY in 2024. This project transformed 24,814 rentable square feet into an innovative workspace designed to accommodate various business units alongside their requisite support functions. The focus of the renovation was to refresh the existing environment, enhancing collaboration and fostering creativity.
As the design architect, The Switzer Group led a collaborative and imaginative design process, driven by the principles of inspiration, technology, and creativity. We implemented forward-thinking workplace concepts that support and invigorate Paramount’s talent. Our close coordination with consultants was crucial to ensure the project was delivered efficiently on schedule, and within budget, thereby maximizing value throughout all phases of development. Key features include general office areas that encompass a welcoming lobby, meeting and collaborative spaces, pantries, copy rooms, storage and filing solutions, integrated recycling stations, private offices, and open workstations.

The Switzer Group's design philosophy reflects the essence of Paramount’s brand—cutting-edge, dynamic, social, compelling, evolving, storytelling, diverse, timeless, and trendsetting. Sustainable design and construction practices were integral to this project, resulting in a workspace that encourages contemporary modes of collaboration and engagement for the next generation of employees. This renovation redefined traditional office programming, strategically rethinking space utilization to enhance productivity and foster an environment of collaboration, culminating in a vibrant and progressive workplace.

"The Switzer Group learned our unique space and operational needs and were energetic and engaged throughout the construction. They worked closely with the project construction manager and helped ensure our vision for the building attained."
