Capitalizing on the re-design of a workplace to re-invent a brand and convey elegance, precision and clarity.
Leo Schachter, an international leading manufacturer of polished diamonds, sought to make a statement with the re-design of their office space in the International Gem Tower building. The core nature of the space is a laboratory with open workstations for their wholesale jewelry business and workstations for "diamond review" as well as a small interview and conference room. Unique to this business is the need for heightened security, inclusive of a vault and mantraps for guests and deliveries as a part of the glass-enclosed reception area. The goal of the project was to showcase what they do while creating an elegant and artistic workplace that supported the specific functions of their business.

Diamonds are beautiful, precious and multi-faceted, and act as the inspiration for the high contrast environment, including the main feature wall of black glass, the lacquered high sheen wood and the elegant and detailed fixtures.

"The Switzer Group learned our unique space and operational needs and were energetic and engaged throughout the construction. They worked closely with the project construction manager and helped ensure our vision for the building attained."
