A relocation and consolidation provides a traditional approach with contemporary flair and showcases the colorful art selection
The client's goal was to relocate and consolidate their Abbott Downing and Private Bank Wealth and Investment Management Teams from two sites to a single site on the 33rd floor at the GM Building, 767 Fifth Avenue in New York, NY 10153.

The design was inspired by the surrounding historical building tops, providing a traditional approach with a contemporary flair. The use of a muted general palette with exquisite materials complements the colorful art selection

The space includes a Client Zone with a reception area visible from the building elevator lobby; six client meeting rooms for four to sixteen people with integrated audio visual technology; a client pantry; and an ADA accessible client restroom. The Switzer Group worked with Wells Fargo and an art consultant to curate and install a selection of art for the Client Zone.

The Wells Fargo Team Member Work Zone includes 46 private offices; 17 6x8 workstations; 3 touchdown seats; a 10-seat conference room; a 3-seat huddle room; 2 1-seat focus rooms; a break room; a work room; and a mother’s room. The program met the client's Wealth Management Planning Guidelines.

The client's branded graphic design elements were distributed throughout the Team Zone.

Flooring materials include stone flooring, carpet, porcelain tile, luxury vinyl tile, and static dissipative tile. Wall materials include stone, wood, leather, glass mosaic tile, porcelain mosaic tile, fabric wrapped panel, and tackable corkboard. Millwork finishes include walnut wood, stone, quartz solid surface, leather, and bronze.

The project was designed to achieve LEED Gold.

"Our trust in The Switzer Group's collective experience and creativity to develop a workspace design that matched efficiency and good taste to the needs of our organization without compromise was rewarded with a wonderful space that will service us well for many years to come."
