Illuminating Engineering Society needed to rejuvenate their outdated, existing office space and engaged The Switzer Group to partner with in this endeavor.

Together we created a new flexible environment to promote collaborative thinking, express IES’s brand, and enhance the daily work experience of all the employees.

The new office layout allows for maximum flexibility and promotes its use for a variety of functions, such as hosting lectures, team meetings, large gatherings and in-office events.

The central design feature is the custom cabinetry element that houses all IES storage and display requirements. This multi-purpose design component is visible from all sides and connects the public and private work zones visually.

To enhance IES’ branding presence in the space, our environmental graphic specialist created original graphics and signage, which was integrated within the architecture.
