A contemporary, elegant new office designed around Central Park views and an art collection for this mid-town investment advisor.
Advent Capital Management desired a new contemporary space when relocating their offices to 888 Seventh Avenue. Having been commissioned by the client twice before, The Switzer Group was tasked to renovate this new space and create a modern, graceful environment .

Central to the design is the magnificent views of Central Park as well as the CEO’s art collection, supported by architectural lighting throughout the space. By incorporating walnut, Calcutta stone, stainless steel and bronze throughout, an elegant aesthetic was achieved for this 22,835 SF office. The space consists of a combination of offices, open environment with an acoustical walnut ceiling and a dedicated trading area. The design also capitalizes on the ceiling height in the trading area.

In addition, there are several conference rooms, a café and an architecturally detailed stair, which connects the 31st floor to the partial 30th floor, housing additional staff and MDF. Glass front offices were incorporated to profit from the views and light.

"The Switzer Group learned our unique space and operational needs and were energetic and engaged throughout the construction. They worked closely with the project construction manager and helped ensure our vision for the building attained."
