The Switzer Group teamed with AECOM to design AMC Networks’ Santa Monica office. The design provides a clean and contemporary workplace environment for the umbrella brand. Opportunities for digital media and monumental graphics, particularly in the public areas, provide a showcase for the world of television and film that AMC represents. Taking cues from the California location, the two-floor office includes an outer deck, as well as plenty of soft seating along with an inter-connecting staircase. The reception area incorporates an electronic media wall and further artistry is applied to the boardroom walls in the form of a unique graphic film appliqued to the glass. These qualities, along with an unexpected color palette of accents, provide a creative and sleek space for this leading media group in the heart of Los Angeles.
