The Switzer Group provided full architectural design services, including the evaluation and preparation of test fits at various locations. The third and fourth floor of 675 Avenue of the Americas was ultimately selected.
Nielsen’s goal was to be agile and technologically progressive, yet still provide a middle ground to support both Nielsen’s and eXelate’s business functions. The space supports the Technology Group, which houses roughly 225-450 people. The program consists of workstations, huddle rooms, demonstration and team rooms as well as a cafe/pantry area.
Lively, branded walls with the firm’s mantra are exhibited throughout the office along with a branded privacy film, vinyl graphics on collaborative tables, and hardwood luxury vinyl tiles. Area rugs compliment and add warmth to the floors. Video conferencing, an interactive wall and gaming room were installed. Decorative lighting installation includes sculptural LED fixtures and whimsical hanging pendants.
